As I was cleaning out my desk at work Thursday morning I found this note from 6 months ago...
"The season of life I'm in is only temporary. I trust I will be delivered from my circumstances and that I will be shaped for His glory during this season"When I read this, I held it tight to my heart and felt as if it was a promise from heaven, that we would be delivered from our circumstances now.
Thursday: I got a new job!! and it's quite the dream job too :)
Friday: Eric was sworn in as an attorney!
Today: We signed the lease for our new home.
Remember the house that we lost?? I was so upset, it seemed perfect for us, and it even had a fruit tree in the back yard..
Well guess what?? God sure does have a sense of humor because our new house has 4 fruit trees!!! We will be having many backyard barbecues this fall!
I'm so thrilled about this new chapter and scared just the same. I'm bubbling over with gratitude about the grace we have received, yet burdened with responsibility to be a good steward of these gifts. Wow! It is so humbling to feel the love and blessed assurance of God.
