I don’t know about you but I get super excited when the holidays hit because I know I can find eggnog at the grocery store, and now I’m getting sad that pretty soon it will be gone from the grocery store shelves and another year before we get to drink that holiday goodness again.

Because I’m the only one that drinks eggnog in my house, we usually have leftovers. My favorite way to drink eggnog is in a latte! YUMMMM! I mix half milk half eggnog and froth it up in my Nespresso frother and pour decaf (sighhhh… breastfeeding) espresso over top the frothy eggnoggy goodness.

This year, I had about 2 cups of nog nearing it’s expiration date so I poured it into the ice cream maker and created this frozen concoction and then devoured this ommmgeee delicious EGGNOG ICE CREAM!

Say what?! Yes, dump eggnog in ice cream maker and churn away. It’s that easy. It’s magical.

To be honest, I don’t know how this ice cream holds up in the freezer because I ate it as soft serve right out of the ice cream maker. Enjoy!

Ok, this is exactly what we were looking for…a way to use up the Whole Foods purchased Trickling Springs Farm Friend Organic Eggnog before it expires on Christmas (my husband bough half a gallon)!

It’s whirring away as I type and we enjoyed your article and recipe!
