Blog Brûlée + Weekly Eats

By Kristina LaRue, RDN 16 Comments

I made back to Orlando late last night from Blog Brûlée, an RD food blogger retreat in Vermont. Connecting with old friends and meeting new ones that inspire me really builds me up.

While we did a great deal of learning from each other it was more like a “party” where we just spent time together, talking about food blogging from SEO and building a brand, to food photography, styling, and photo editing. I’ll be sure to share more about my major takeaways in upcoming blog posts.

Running Trails in Burlington

Ann and I got out in the chilly weather yesterday morning for a hike to get our blood flowing before a day of travel. Vermont is so beautiful with the scenic views and lots of rolling hills… took me back to the Vermont City Marathon with Cabot Fit.

Hiking in Vermont

I feels refreshing to get back in my grove with workouts, work, and a normal sleep schedule. My body craves routine. It’s been hard to catch up on rest with all the travel that I’ve been doing. Grocery shopping usually happens on the weekends, so I’m thankful that my sweet husband was able to pick up some groceries for the week. #teamwork

My week is pretty stacked with meetings in the evenings per usual and since I didn’t have time to meal prep, I needed recipes that are quick and easy to throw together on the fly. Here’s our week of workouts & eats!

Monday

Tuesday

Wow! It’s amazing how much work there is to running a blog! Hope you enjoyed your weekend. I can’t wait for you to share some of the stuff that you’ve learnt! Seems like you get out there and exercise quite a bit – I will be sure to do more of that this week 🙂
