Hello, 60 degree weather! I love you.

Here in FL it will be 60 for like 2 hours in the morning and then it warms up but hey, we take what we can get. The high for today is 89 degrees. Not super fall-ish, but I have the mums, pumpkins and Halloween decor out. We like to pretend it’s fall by getting as festive as possible. The downside is trying to keep the mums alive when the temps rise… poor mums.

Speaking of cooler weather, hot chocolate is a staple in our house when we start to feel a chill in the air. It’s the perfect after dinner bevy to quell the sweet tooth IMO.

When we were little, my parents took us on ski vacations year after year and one of my favorite things after coming off the slopes was sipping on hot cocoa.

So when Pure Via reached out to partner for this recipe, I was super excited to share it with you because this Cinnamon Hot Chocolate contains no added sugar and is made with protein-packed milk. If you’re dairy-free just sub in your milk of choice.

Why I love Pure Via sweetener? It’s an all natural, zero-calorie sweetener made with Reb A, a pure extract of the naturally sweet stevia plant. Reb A is the sweetest and best tasting part of the stevia leaf. When any of my clients ask about using a zero-calorie sweetener, I always recommend stevia because it’s closest to nature.

Pure Via can be purchased in the sweetener aisle at most grocery stores and is also available at some coffee shops and restaurants. For more info about Pure Via visit their website and follow them on Facebook and Twitter!

I’m excited to share a Pure Via giveaway with you too! Pure Via will send you a gift box with sweeteners and other goodies!! Trust me you’ll love it!! Contest ends next Wednesday 10/21/15 at 12AM EST.

Hot chocolate is so good and I drink a lot of it in the winter but I never though to add cinnamon to it. Thanks for this healthier option too! I can’t wait to try it.

I’m with you lady on the heat! I try and sneak in the early morning 70 degree San Diego weather before it turns into the upper 90s…so unusual for us this time of year! I too love sporting the fall spirit despite the weather and am a big fan of pure vida- can’t wait to try this!

Fall *is* here! I’ll be saving this for the weekend when I have some extra time to sit down with my husband to discuss some home renos we are planning!

That sounds amazing! Home renos are the best– I get so inspired watching HGTV (they make it look so easy!).

        it can be “easy”…

We just had someone come do crown molding throughout the house. That was “easy” … if you like living with all your furniture in all your rooms pushed to the middle, and dust everywhere.

Needless to say, it was a tense 3 days. LOL.

BUT… It did get my husband to say “I was thinking about surprising you about having the bathroom redone while we are on our honeymoon. You just can’t handle renovations”. After that … I’m not going to argue. Our bathroom is just so *ugh* I have lost the desire to clean it.

Sounds delicious! It’s definitely starting to feel like fall in the South and cinnamon and chocolate are the best combo!
