Florida Hospital Gourmet Soiree

By Kristina LaRue, RDN 1 Comment

Disclosure: Florida Hospital invited us to the event free of charge, and I was not compensated to write this post. I am a past employee and intern at Florida Hospital. My opinions are my own.

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have seen my posts from last night’s event! Eric and I had the opportunity to attend Florida Hospital’s Gourmet Soiree. We had such a fantastic time!

Florida Hospital truly lives out its mission to not only provide exceptional medical care for the sick, but they motivate and encourage our community to live their healthiest life beginning with food and exercise.

The Gourmet Soiree, concept was a cook at your table with a local chef with ingredients provided by Whole Foods Market. Robert Irvine from the Food Network was the host along with celebrity chef, Emily Ellyn finalist on The Next Food Network Star.

We got to cook with executive Chef Jason from White Wolf Cafe and Wolfies Pizzamia, his brand new restaurant. Can’t wait to visit you Jason!!

It was also great to catch up with a few Orlando food bloggers at our table Adriana’s Best Recipes, Droolius, and Kate from Lake Mary Healthy Living and Katy Widrick was at the table next to us! I just love chatting it up with local bloggers! Thanks for snagging this picture Adriana!

We cannot thank Chef Jason and Florida Hospital, @SaraChanning, enough for the wonderful memories we have of that night!!

PS. If you haven’t heard already, Eric has now started his own blog!! It’s LaRueSports.com where he talks sports. You can follow him @EricLaRueEsq on twitter/IG. If you are a sports fan, have a sports fan in your life, or just want to send a little love his way… stop by his blog and sign up to receive his posts by email! We appreciate you!
