Taste of the Nation Recap

By Kristina LaRue, RDN Leave a Comment

Disclosure: Eric and I were given free tickets to the event along with 2 tickets for a lucky winner and guest to attend too. I was not compensated to write this post and like always, all opinions are my own.

moving display of desserts!

Hi friends, Eric and I had a grand old time at Taste of the Nation! I just wanted to check in and share with you all the fun stuff we did at the event. Thank you to everyone that entered the giveaway!

Last Saturday night, you may have seen lots of tweets and Instagram photos of food. We enjoyed time with friends and tasted lots of eats from chefs around Orlando. How often do you get to have super talented, local chefs, cooking food all in one BIG room!?

hanging chocolate covered strawberries!

All the proceeds from Taste of the Nation benefited the Coalition for the Homeless and Second Harvest  Food Bank… two non-profits I’m totally passionate about! In fact our small group is serving breakfast at the coalition this weekend.

Katy Widrick and I with the bush man and I quote, “Maybe we can pollenate later”- Bush Man.. I can’t make that stuff up.

Good food, even better cause!

Thank you Taste of the Nation for inviting us to attend this event! It’s definitely a night that I don’t want to miss out on next year!
