Making a strawberry blueberry smoothie ain’t no thang when it comes to this recipe! Blueberry smoothie bowls are so dang pretty, it’s ridiculous. I mean check out that bright purple color – GAWGEOUS! Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie is basically what my summer dreams are made of!

The weekend is a like a prize to me and I long for simple Saturdays. Read as — going to the Farmer’s market, drinking coffee, walking around, running mid day because we can, doing housework, casually cooking, testing recipes, and styling pictures without a time crunch, and spending quality time with my babe. I treasure those hours of solitude together on the weekends because it orients and reshapes me.

We all need times like that. But here lately, my space has been condensed. I’m really really glad that I love the work that I do, but I sort of died a little inside when I realized I had to start working on weekends. It makes it difficult to get caught up on house duties, and this weekend was no different.

So I got to thinking about my passions for helping people change their lives. Teaching them how to say no to what’s standing in their way so they can say yes to a healthier and happier life. Making themselves a top priority, and understanding that by doing that they aren’t being selfish, but forming them into the person they need to be for the sake of others. We can’t care for people well, if we don’t care for ourselves.

I’ve learned not to underestimate the power of a small choice. Whether it’s 15 minutes of me time or making this Healthy Blueberry Smoothie Bowl for breakfast because a strawberry blueberry smoothie is life, right??
