Oh and perks of making this recipe is there is extra creamy delicious chocolate milk leftover to sip off all week long (errrrr… like for two days at our chocolate milk drinking rate).

This recipe is one that I’m proud to serve to my family (especially my toddler) who makes getting quality protein and veggies in his tummy a challenge.

I drank lots of chocolate milk when I was pregnant with my son (maybe that’s why he loves Chocolate Milk Zucchini Waffles) and now that my running mileage has picked up again after a long postpartum siesta, chocolate milk is making a comeback in my diet.

Description

Chocolate Milk Zucchini Waffles… chocolate milk waffles with hidden veggies you can’t taste, your next breakfast obsession awaits.


Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup a2 Milk® Chocolate 2% Reduced Fat Milk
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup white 100% whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup shredded zucchini
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.
  2. Add all ingredients except zucchini and chocolate chips to blender and blend until thoroughly mixed. Stir zucchini and chocolate chips into mixed batter.
  3. Once waffle iron is preheated, pour batter into iron and cook until the waffle iron indicates they are done.
